Work Party

I brought the kids to work with me today. We had a fun gingerbread decorating contest and everyone brought in their kids. They had lots of fun and liked seeing Mommy's new office. Here are some pictures.

Christmas Dress

We tried to take our Christmas pictures today. Claire was less than enthusiastic about having a dress on...again, the tom boy. As you can see from the outakes, she is very unhappy and would like nothing more than to take the dress off.

Little Red Corvette

We went to my cousins son's birthday party yesterday. Claire had lots of fun seeing her cousins and playing with all the new toys. She especially liked climbing in and out of the play tent.

She also enjoyed "driving" the red corvette. Here she is taking Ben for a spin.

The kids were real excited about decorating their Christmas tree. Now that Claire is a bit older she can really help out this year.

Always a Fan

Claire and I went to our first indoor soccer game of the season. Claire loved sitting on the bleachers and cheering her brother on. She kept her eye on all the action.

And when asked if she was checking out the boys, she gave this face.

Guilty. She couldn't contain herself. We are in trouble.

I know, I keep saying she is a tom boy...but seriously, she is! She had fun this afternoon play ball hockey with Isaac and Daddy. She shows great form with the stick.

It's crazy to think that these photos are only 5 months a part. What a big change you see in her. As you can see, she likes to live dangerously.

The words she says most often: No, Up, Mine, Baby. And sometimes she will say Money! Seriously, it's funny. And all of a sudden she started saying Elmo. We do not watch or have any Elmo stuff in the house either! Our baby is no more...it makes me sad, and no, it's not time to have another. We have our hands plenty full!

Crazy Hair Twins

I took these last week and forgot to post them. I thought it was hilarious. My kids wake up with the craziest hair ever.

They looked so cute having breakfast together.

A Big Girl Now

We've been having issues getting Claire to eat lately. She would fuss until we took her out of her high chair and have her sit on our lap during dinner. Well tonight I said let's not put her high chair tray on and just push her up to the table....and it worked! All she wanted was to be treated like a big girl and sit at the table. And I guess having yummy corn on the cob helps too!

She later grabbed my glass and tried to drink from a cup herself! She spilled most of it on her pants but she was eager to try which was a great sign. Our little girl is growing up too fast. :(

Goddess

How cute is this? Claire would stick out her cheek and expect Isaac to give her smooches and blow bubbles. When he was done, she would go back for more. It was hilarious.

That look on her face says I have you eating out of the palm of my hands! Doesn't she know it!

Sick Day

Poor Claire has not been feeling well. She's missed daycare most of the week and has been going stir-crazy from being indoors. We took her out for some fresh air to rake the leaves....which she loves! She looks adorable in her pink snow suit.

It was actually quite warm so we took off her hat. She is licking her lips for ice cream!

She loved climbing up and down our old rickety front steps and knocking on the door. Looks like Daddy is going to have to get going on this project in the spring...hehe. How can we say no to this adorable face?

15 Month Milestone

Today Claire is 15 months old! I wasn't going to take her next monthly shot till 18 months, but she was looking way too cute this morning. She never lets me touch her hair and then one day she came home from daycare looking like Pebbles Flinstone. She saw one of the other little girls getting their hair done, and she wanted to do her hair too! Here is her new monthly photo:

And this just says trouble. Yes, she's standing on the rocker and yes, we told her not to, and yes she didn't listen, and yes, we took a picture. It was all supervised!
