Halloween Night

Yay! Halloween is finally here! The kids getting ready: Isaac as a sick kid - seriously, he missed trick or treating :( - and Claire as a beautiful butterfly.

It was a bit windy so Daddy only took her to a few houses.

Here she is arriving back home with her small stash.

Like all kids, she's dumped out her basket and is sorting her goods.

And ofcourse, giving Daddy his cut.

We didn't get as many kids this year so it was great for Isaac since he didn't get to go out. He got to keep all the extra candy for himself...ofcourse minus whatever Anthony eats, and we know how that goes.

Getting Ready for Halloween

We had a fun morning getting ready for Halloween.

Then she thought it was plain silly to have this pumpkin outside her bedroom door.

Happy 11th Birthday Isaac

OMG - He's 11! A tween...yikes.

We took Isaac out to the Mandarin for his birthday. His absolute favourite place to eat! At the end he got to wear this cool Asian celebratory hat and have his photo taken. I say cool, but it was a bit silly. He took it in stride and was a great sport. I'll post the photo when I get it.

Treat Bags

We're getting real excited for Halloween. We spent the afternoon getting our treat bags ready for the kids.

We had a fun time sorting everything out and are looking forward to seeing all the kids. Last year we had about 200 come to our door.

Claire is Trouble! She loves getting into everything...literally. First she dumped all the books out of this basket.

Then she decided to get in it...all the while we told her not to.

She's the strong and silent type.

Dave & Rosanna's Wedding

We dressed Claire to the 9's for Dave and Rosanna's wedding. Here she is at home before the party.

His Biggest Fan

Claire's just loves her big brother. She's his biggest fan. Watch her dance as Isaac serenades her.

Home Hair Salon

Claire's bangs have been getting quite long but the rest of her hair is fine. So I decided to give it a go and cut her bangs myself after bath. She sat nicely and it came out quite nice. I think she liked her new look.

Then she turned and gave me this look!

Man is she moody! I have NO IDEA where she gets this from. ;)

The Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to Ben's 1st birthday party. They decided to have it at a farm. There was plenty to do and see....with a pumpkin patch, corn maze, hay rides, and petting zoo. What fun! Some photos of our day:
