3 Month Milestone

Jacob turned 3 months old today! Our little sweet pea is just so precious. His latest appt at Sick Kids showed that he still has the blood clot in his leg so I will unfortunately have to continue with the twice daily injections of blood thinners until mid-March. He is such a little trooper and rarely cries now when I do it (not that it makes it any easier). We are buying him a porsche. He deserves all the good things in life! Here is his latest photo:

A look back at last month:

He's grown quite a bit. He is now almost 11 1/2 pounds and about 6 cm longer.

Here are some other cute shots. He's laid back like his Daddy and likes to kick back and relax and enjoy life. He already knows about life's hardships and prefers to enjoy every moment!

He also loves to smile. This picture cracks me up! Haha...it's like we painted it on.

He likes quiet...shh!! He does this when Claire is around...or just cringes because she's so loud.

His first attempt at playing peek-a-boo. The goal is to get his hands to cover his eyes and not his mouth.

This also made me laugh. I had this book out next to Jacob and suddenly I saw a resemblance. Do you see it?

ABOB Gala

Many were honoured last night at the annual Annual Best of the Best Bravo Awards Gala. Joanne and I were recipients this year....yay Clemente's! The gala was held at the swanky Four Seasons Hotel and the theme this year was "Rockstar". Upon arrival, we received special "backstage" passes and rockstar glasses. Here are some pictures of the fun night. Joanne and I at cocktail hour.

They had a Lady Gaga impersonator...she was awesome.

And a Rod Stewart impersonator...he rocked too.

After dinner we were called to receive our awards. Here I am with our President and Executive Vice President.

Lastly, every table had to perform a song. Here we are rockin' it out on stage...I am totally in the zone.

It was an awesome night.

Snow Racer

We had another big snowfall this weekend. Claire enjoyed the snow as Isaac pulled her around on the snow racer.

She looks so skilled and makes it look easy.

Isaac is starting to lose his steam after several trips.

Claire does not understand why Isaac is so tired. This is pretty relaxing she thinks!

First Big Snowfall

We had our first big snowfall of the new year. Claire was excited to go outside with Daddy to help with the shoveling. Here she is getting ready.

Meahwhile, back in the house, Jacob vegetated on the couch watching T.V.

I have to say I love him in Navy Blue velour. It hides his double chin well.

Well since Claire and Daddy were getting in their exercise, Jacob had to have some activity too. Here he is having some tummy time. He's a bit behind since we couldn't put him on his chest until his wound healed. Other than that, he's not too bad. He doesn't mind it and will just chill and gnaw on his hand.

After a well deserved nap, Claire tried out the art easel she got for Christmas. Here she is looking up at the blank canvas searching for inspiration.

Now she's got it.

The Back-up Plan

Turns out daycare was closed today! Luckily we had this gingerbread house at home still that we didn't get to decorate over the holidays. This kept Claire busy for a while!

Besides putting the icing on, Claire did this all by herself. I know - the icing looks like the worst part. It was the best I could do with baby Jacob on my hip crying!

Anyway, she was very proud and couldn't wait to show Daddy and Isaac when they got home!
