What a beautiful day!  The kids took advantage and spent some time out on the deck on their scooters and bikes.

Happy New Year!



This year I decided to have my nieces and nephew over for a New Years Eve Glow-in-the-Dark Dance Party Sleepover Extrvaganza!  So 6 kids + lots of junk food + Glow Sticks + Just Dance 4 + Staying Up Late = Chaos + Good Times.

 

We lined them up on the couch, oldest to youngest - Isaac, Thaiana, Mya, Claire, Ben and Jacob.  Getting them all to look at the same time was hard.  We didn't do too bad though!

We put Jacob down at about 11pm...he was getting cranky.  The rest of them almost made it to midnight.  Here they are getting ready for the countdown but some of them were fading...

Ben was the first to go at 11:50pm...

 

Mya was a close second at 11:51pm....

Claire fell asleep at 11:58pm....lol, she almost made it!

Isaac nd Thaiana made it to midnight and so did Anthony and I for the first time in 4 years!

The next day they had more fun with the lego's and finished eating the rest of the junk before they got picked up.

It was a good time and a night they will always remember and are already asking to do it again next year!

Sledding Fun!

I hate the snow, but Claire and Isaac sure love it.  They had lots of fun sledding in the back of the house.

Jacob on the other hand preferred to stay in the house.  He has a phobia of snow....no joke.  To go from the house to the car, he will cover his face so he doesn't have to look at it or feel it on his face.  It's hilarious!

Max and Ruby Live!

After lunch Grandma took the grandkids, minus Jacob who was napping, to see Max and Ruby Live!  It was very exciting!  Claire really enjoyed it.

We went to visit Claire's godparents this morning and Jacob was all over their dog.  It was adorable!

Christmas Day with the Family

We had our annual dinner with the Clemente's.

Grandma was all ready with some crafts for the kids.  They made snow globes!

Crafty uncle Marc offered his engineering expertise in assembling them.

Everyday should be Christmas!

Christmas Morning - Present Opening....

Before they got into the presents, they had to take a group photo.  They co-operated fully and quickly. 

Isaac helping Jacob with his stocking.  He`s excited...there are cars gummies in there...YES!

Claire digging deep into ther stocking for her goodies. 

Then they got to the gifts Santa brought.  Isaac got Madden 13, Claire got a Barbie scooter and Jacob got the new Ice Age movie.  They were all very pleased with Santa`s selection.

Claire with her Monster High doll....this was a last minute addition.  My nieces have them and Claire was begging for one.  We caved and got it.

Jacob also got this super cool dinosaur race track.  He was soo excited.  Big brother Isaac is putting it together for him.  It wasn`t too long ago that he was into this kind of stuff!

They all seemed to like it and had lots of fun.  The car would go in the dinosaur`s mouth and Jacob would laugh it up.
