Claire is enjoying her big brother being off for the summer. She is looking forward to more mornings playing video games with him.

Little Speedster
I have been trying to get Claire to use the walker for the past 2 weeks and each time I offered it, she would refuse to take any steps with it. Well her cousin was over tonight and after watching Thaiana use it, Claire was eager to imitate. She just grabbed the bar and started motoring around.
I was completely amazed at how quickly she picked this up! She is just LOVING this and she strolled all along the basement like she's been doing this for months. She is not afraid at all and is moving along very quickly. In fact, if our basement were the road, she definitely would have had several speeding tickets by now.

Happy Father's Day
We had a nice Father's Day at home. We did a sports theme for Daddy's gifts (seeing as Anthony and I are beginning a Biggest Loser competition soon). Isaac got Anthony some new soccer clothes (top & shorts) and running shoes. Claire got Daddy new golf shoes and a golf shirt. I got him a round of golf. Yes, he is spoiled! Here are some pictures from our day.
The whole gang going for a pre-dinner walk. Claire just cracks me up in this photo.
The kids in the wagon.
Claire in her "Grandpa Loves Me" dress. She looks just like her Dad with that smile.

Daddy Juggles, Claire Giggles
I had an evening out and left Claire home with the boys. I think she had a great time with Daddy & her brother.

Eww! That felt weird. No way am I putting that in my mouth! Maybe if I pretend it's not there, it'll disapper. Do dee do dee do......Not looking, not touching!
Mom, Dad, give it up. I'm way too smart! That's not food.
Now this cookie, I can munch on.
Oh yeah, that's good stuff!

A Wagon Ride
Daddy mistakenly took our keys today so Claire and I have been stuck without a car or stroller for the day. We ventured into the garage and found the wagon so decided to take it out for the first time. She had such a fun time in it and enjoyed the change from the stroller. She held onto the side of the wagon and would just wave at the cars going by.
It's pretty roomy. We'll have to get Grandpa to put in another seat belt so she can tow some of her friends along.
This was the look on her face when we got back home....doom! Mom, please don't take me back inside! It was pretty warm so I didn't want to keep her out too long. We'll have to invest in a sunshade or try to anchor an umbrella on it.

10 Month Milestone
We are at double digits people!!! 10 months equals nothing but trouble! Claire is all over the place now. Her curiousity or shall we say "Nosy Nancy" persona has the better of her. Here is her new monthly photo. Doesn't that just say trouble? The bear has nothing on her now.
Stand and cruise - That's all she wants to do. Standing and cruising in the crib.
Standing and cruising around the musical table.
Standing and crusing with the walker.
And standing and cruising around the jungle gym.
She will have us hold her hands and walk her all around the house all day long if she could! When we are unavailable she will gladly scoot around on her bum since she hasn't perfected the crawling yet.
I've also been working with Claire on name recognition. When you ask her where she is, she will pat herself on the belly. Watch this video - It's very cute!
And the slideshow of months past:

Erie Gold
Isaac's team had their first out of town tournament this past weekend in Erie, PA. The drive was not too bad - only 4 hours. Claire was soo excited she didn't sleep fall asleep until close to 1pm...we left at 9:30am.
Here we are in the hotel lobby the morning of the tournament. Claire couldn't keep her eyes off of the team. I can already tell this little one is going to have eyes for her older brother's friends!
Here we are at the field. It got really hot so we had to give the babies a change of clothes. They looked so cute on the field.
And now all dressed it's time to play!
Isaac and his team warming up for their games.
An action shot on the field. Isaac is really hugging that pole. There is no way anything is getting in.
The team was victorious sweeping the entire tournament!!!! We were all so proud since the team actually played up an age. They kept focused and perservered. I think our team had the loudest parents on the field. We cheered for anything and everything!
And some team shots after the victory.
Accepting their medals and hearing a speech from their coach.
Posing in front of the stadium ball.

Race Day
Isaac had his regional track races today. Feeling a little under the weather, he unfortunately didn't do so well placing 5th in the 100 m and 7th for relay. He came out fighting though and we're really proud of him for keeping his head up and trying his best!
